The Catholic Church wants to hear about your experience.

In October 2023, Catholic bishops from around the world will meet in Rome for a synod (a formal listening session focused on a specific theme, called by the Pope). The 2023 Synod is set to discuss the theme: "For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission."

Pope Francis has changed the way synods will work from now on, by asking bishops worldwide to provide listening sessions within each diocese to hear from the people of God how the Spirit is moving within us and the Church. The Archdiocese of Portland has asked for these listening sessions to take place in February and March.

These listening sessions are open to EVERY MEMBER of Spirit of Grace–not just Catholics–to share your hopes and struggles with and within the Church. Spirit of Grace is offering two sessions, facilitated by Director Vinci, as a safe place for each of you to share your truth.

• OPTION 2: Spirit of Grace (Zoom) session; Tuesday, March 15, 6:30-8:30 pm
