Spirit of Grace Does Pride 2023

Not only is participating in Beaverton Pride an important way to express support for the LBGTQIA+ community, but it’s also fun!

Our organizer Kaitlin Pabo-Eulberg had this to share about the experience:

“THANK YOU ALL for such an awesome PRIDE booth! This was such a great team effort. It was joyful to spread be amidst such queer joy and representing our faith community. :)”

Two participants in our 2023 Beaverton Pride booth shared their thoughts about the experience.

“I like Pride and helping. We were one of the most popular booths, and people liked making their own buttons (especially the “God is Nonbinary” one). I liked getting to show people how to use the button maker and helping set up. And just being part of Pride.” -our youngest volunteer, Eleanor Monks (pictured below), who staffed the booth for 8.5 hours)

“It was a great opportunity to be with and support the pride community. I loved observing the powerhouse presence and participation of Eleanor and feeling and witnessing the camaraderie of the Pride community. I learned that our friend Jane loves snakes and watched her put a white albina snake around her neck!” —Nancy McAuliffe

We’ll be back at Beaverton Pride on Sunday, June 30. Come join us!
