Those who find the holiday season difficult are welcome to join Intern Pax for a Tidings of Comfort service. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, mourning the suffering in the world, or simply needing space for sadness in a season that often rushes toward superficial joy, you are welcome. There will be no expectation to share personal grief aloud. Participants may choose to write down who or what they are grieving and place it in a basket; after the service, each person may draw a note to carry with them in prayer—a reminder that we do not carry these burdens alone. An informal gathering with hot apple cider (and possibly cookies) will follow.
